Trump administration expands vaccine eligibility
The Trump administration announced on Tuesday that it would release all available doses and called on states to immediately begin immunizing every American 65 and over.

“Over the past few days, we have averaged around 700,000 vaccinations per day. And we are on track to reach a million per day in a week to 10 days. In total, we already have over nine million first vaccinations, far more than any western country. By the end of next week, 95% of long-term care facilities will have had their first visit with doses of the vaccine. “” To echo what the secretary said, and strongly recommend that vaccination be now extended to people 65 years of age or older and people aged 16 to 18, depending on the vaccine used, to 64 who have a comorbidity with medical documents about it.
